Sadie Engelhardt, a junior at Ventura High in California, produced a lifetime-best 2:03.48 to win the girls invitational 800 meters at the Meet of Champions Distance Classic at Azusa Pacific University. Engelhardt eclipsed the meet record of 2:07.31 achieved in 2021 by former Crescenta Valley High standout Mia Barnett.
